Permanent/probationary unit members, ETUMs, temporary hiring pool members, and expedited hires who meet the minimum standards for teaching in a particular discipline, as identified by the Chancellor’s Office of California Community Colleges, shall be considered eligible and given priority over external candidates for short-term substitute positions.
Effective August 16, 2024, the minimum monthly 1.0 FTE base salary for a Faculty member shall be: • Assistant Professor (9 month academic-basis appointment): $7,223 (non-prorated monthly base salary); • Assistant Professor (12 month fiscal-basis appointment): $5,417.00; • Schools and Colleges are encouraged to hire at market rates for the purposes of recruitment and retention, the minimum salary is not intended to prevent Schools/Colleges from hiring above this rate.

Provider must obtain College's written consent before subcontracting any part of the work required of the Provider under this Contract.
