You agree that we, any Citigroup Organisation or Third Party Service Provider may withhold or deduct any Collected Amount which is required to be withheld or deducted to comply with any Law or Regulation from any payment to you, or to or from an account that you maintain with us.
Any Collected Amount shall be timely paid to the relevant Authority in accordance with the relevant requirement.
We will notify you of any Collected Amount as soon as reasonably practicable.
Further, to the extent we or any Citigroup Organisation or Third Party Service Provider pays or has paid from its own funds or is or will become required to make a payment to an Authority in respect of an amount that should have been, but was not, a Collected Amount, you will indemnify us for such payment, plus any interest and penalties thereon.
If your CRC account shall be so terminated by us, you shall forthwith return to us all CRC chequebooks, unused CRC cheques, the CRC Card and/or the Citibank ATM/Debit Card issued in respect of your CRC account; and make immediate payment of all CRC outstanding balance and such other sums owing to us under this Agreement including any Collected Amount, interest, charges and fees due or funds required to be made by Law or Regulation.
