Closing Level definition

Closing Level. : means the official daily Closing Level of the Index as published by the Index Sponsor in relation to each Scheduled Trading Day during the Investment Term.

Closing Level. : means the official daily closing level of the FTSE 100 Index as published by the Index Sponsor.

Closing Level means, means the level specified as such in the relevant Supplemental Listing Document subject to any adjustment in accordance with Condition 6.

Examples of Closing Level in a sentence

• For the avoidance of doubt, if the Closing Level references the final settlement price for settling a futures contract and the final settlement price is not available on the scheduled Valuation Date, the Issuer may postpone the Valuation Date further until the publication of the relevant final settlement price.

• If the Strike Level is greater than the Closing Level of the Index and the Cash Settlement Amount (less any Exercise Expenses) is positive, all Warrants shall be deemed to have been automatically exercised at 12:00 noon (Singapore time) on the Expiry Date (or if the Valuation Date falls after the Expiry Date, the Expiry Date shall be the Business Day following the Valuation Date).

• In the event the Strike Level is less than or equal to the Closing Level of the Index and the Cash Settlement Amount (less any Exercise Expenses) is zero or negative, all Warrants shall be deemed to have expired at 12:00 noon (Singapore time) on the Expiry Date (or if the Valuation Date falls after the Expiry Date, the Expiry Date shall be the Business Day following the Valuation Date) and Warrantholders shall not be entitled to receive any payment from the Issuer in respect of the Warrants.

• Exercise of Warrants shall be determined by the Closing Level of the Index.

More Definitions of Closing Level

Closing Level means the official closing level or value of the Index rounded to two decimal places on a given day as announced by the Index Sponsor, provided that, if on or after the Closing Date the Index Sponsor materially changes the time of day at which the official closing level or value is determined or no longer announces the official closing level or value, the Calculation Agent may thereafter deem the Closing Level to be the level or value of the Index as of the time of day used by the Index Sponsor to determine the official closing level or value prior to such change or failure to announce;

Closing Level means, with respect to any day, the last reported level of the Index, the Successor Index or any security which is a component of either such index, as the case may be, at the Close of Trading, as reported by Nasdaq, the publisher of the Successor Index or the primary exchange on which any such security then trades, as the case may be.

Closing Level. : means the official daily closing level of the FTSE 100 Index or the EURO STOXX 50 Index, as the case may be, as published by the Index Sponsor.

Closing Level means the last reported level of the Index or the Successor Index, as the case may be, at 4:00 p.m., New York City time, as reported by S&P or the publisher of the Successor Index, as the case may be.

Closing Level means the final settlement price for settling the Hang Seng Index Futures Contracts that are scheduled to expire during the month in which the Expiry Date of the CBBCs is scheduled to fall (the "Index Futures Contracts"), determined pursuant to Regulation 012 of the Regulations for Trading Stock Index Futures Contracts and the Contract Specifications for Hang Seng Index Futures (as amended from time to time) of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (or its successor or assign), subject to our right to determine the Closing Level in good faith on the Valuation Date upon the occurrence of a Market Disruption Event as described further in the terms and conditions of the CBBCs.

Closing Level means, with respect to the Index, on any day, the official closing level or last reported level of the Index; provided, however, that, if the Index Sponsor changes the manner in which it calculates the Index, discontinues or suspends calculation or publication of the Index, or if the level of the Index is not available on the last Business Day of any Quarter during the term of this Security or on the Final Valuation Date because of a Market Disruption Event or for any other reason, the Calculation Agent will determine the Closing Level of the Index on such Business Day or on the Final Valuation Date, as the case may be, in the manner provided in Section 3 on the face of this Security.

Closing Level means, in respect of each Component and any Commodity Basket Calculation Day (d), the official closing price of each such Component on such Commodity Basket Calculation Day as announced and published on the Component Ticker, provided that if on any Commodity Basket Calculation Day, the Closing Level is not published on the Component Ticker, then in the case of the relevant trading facility for the relevant contract(s) underlying a Component not being open for tradingas a result of a scheduled holiday for such trading facility, the Closing Level will be the most recent Closing Level for such Component, otherwise the Closing Level will be determined by the Calculation Agent, in its sole discretion, in a commercially reasonable manner in accordance with section E (Adjustment Events) below.
