Claims Bar Date definition

Claims Bar Date means the applicable bar date by which Proofs of Claim must be Filed, as established by: (a) the Bar Date Order; (b) a Final Order of the Bankruptcy Court; or (c) the Plan.

Claims Bar Date means the date established by the Bankruptcy Court by which Proofs of Claim must be Filed with respect to such Claims, other than Administrative Claims, Claims held by Governmental Units, or other Claims or Interests for which the Bankruptcy Court entered an order excluding the holders of such Claims or Interests from the requirement of Filing Proofs of Claim.

Claims Bar Date means the last date for filing a Proof of Claim in these Chapter 11 Cases, as provided in the Claims Bar Date Order.

• Any requests for payment of General Administrative Claims that are not properly Filed and served by the Administrative Claims Bar Date shall not appear on the Claims Register and shall be disallowed automatically without the need for further action by the Debtors or the Reorganized Debtors or further order of the Bankruptcy Court.

• Holders of Administrative Claims that are required to File and serve a request for payment of such Administrative Claims that do not File and serve such a request by the Administrative Claims Bar Date shall be forever barred, estopped and enjoined from asserting such Administrative Claims against the Debtors, the Reorganized Debtors and their respective Estates and property and such Administrative Claims shall be deemed discharged as of the Effective Date.

• Except as otherwise specifically provided in the Plan, any Entity that requests compensation or expense reimbursement for making a substantial contribution in the Chapter 11 Cases pursuant to sections 503(b)(3), (4), and (5) of the Bankruptcy Code must file an application and serve such application on counsel for the Debtors or Reorganized Debtors, as applicable, and as otherwise required by the Bankruptcy Court, the Bankruptcy Code, and the Bankruptcy Rules on or before the Administrative Claims Bar Date.

• Nothing in this Article II.A shall limit, alter, or impair the terms and conditions of the Claims Bar Date Order with respect to the Claims Bar Date for filing administrative expense claims arising under Section 503(b)(9) of the Bankruptcy Code.

• For the avoidance of doubt, any DIP Claims and claims relating to the Backstop Agreement shall not be subject to the Administrative Claims Bar Date or the Claims Bar Date.
