Chief Fire Official definition

Chief Fire Official means the Chief of the Fire Department for the City of Vaughan, or a person designated to act on his or her behalf;
Chief Fire Official means the Assistant to the Fire Marshal who is the Municipal Fire Chief or a member or members of the Fire Department appointed by the Municipal Fire Chief under the FPPA or a person appointed by the Fire Marshal under the FPPA;
Chief Fire Official means the assistant to the Fire Marshal who is the Municipal Fire Chief or a member or members of the fire department appointed by the Municipal Fire Chief under Article 1.1.1.2. of Division C or a person appointed by the Fire Marshal under Article 1.1.1.1. of Division C.

Chief Fire Official means the person who may, from time to time, be appointed by Council to the position of Chief of Barrie Fire and Emergency Service or his designate.

Chief Fire Official means the ranking officer in the authority having jurisdiction with responsibility for fire protection within a defined geographic region of an air district, or his or her designee. The chief fire official may be a federal, state, county or municipal employee, depending on the extent of the fire jurisdiction within the exemption area. In State or Federal Responsibility Areas for wildland protection, the state or federal official’s determination overrides county authority with regard to burn permits and the use of burn barrels or incinerators in exemption areas.
