CHATS means the computer based Clearing House Automated Transfer System owned and operated in Hong Kong by HKICL for (i) the automated electronic processing and settlement of funds transfers including credit and debit transfers effected by MA directly in a Member’s CHATS Ledger Account as described in Rules 6.3.10 to 6.3.13; (ii) the automated electronic processing and settlement of funds transfers by virtue of Special Posting or End of Day Net Settlement; and (iii) the processing and settlement of inter-Member funds in respect of the clearing and settlement of Articles.
