Charterparty definition

Charterparty means, in relation to a Ship, any charterparty in respect of that Ship of a duration exceeding or capable of exceeding 12 months, made on terms and with a charterer acceptable in all respects to the Lenders;
Charterparty means any time or bareboat charter or any pool agreement or any other agreements of employment entered or to be entered into between the relevant Borrower and the relevant Charterer for the chartering of a Vessel for a period of 12 Months or more, in form and substance acceptable to the Agent (on behalf of the Finance Parties).
Charterparty means, in relation to each Ship, the Initial Charterparty or the Future Charterparty in respect of that Ship;

  • To evidence such delivery, the Charterer shall thereupon execute and deliver the Charterparty Supplement to the Representative Owner.

  • During Pre-Commencement Period the Borrower shall, on request from the Agent at intervals not more frequent than every two months, inform the Agent about any employment of the Vessel which is not the Charterparty, including, inter alia, the name of the charterer, hire rate and contract duration.

  • Pursuant to the Charterparty a quiet enjoyment letter will be required from the Lenders for the duration of the charter, subject to form and substance being satisfactory to the Lenders (in their sole discretion, acting reasonably).


More Definitions of Charterparty

Charterparty means any bareboat charterparty or any time charterparty (including, without limitation, any Existing Charter) in respect of a Ship of a duration of 12 months or more (excluding options to extend contained therein), made with an Approved Charterer on terms acceptable in all respects to the Lenders, such acceptance not to be unreasonably withheld;
Charterparty means each of the time charterparty(ies), bareboat charterparty(ies) or other contracts of employment (as the case may be) made between a Borrower (as owner) and the relevant Charterers for the charter of the Vessels.
Charterparty means any charterparty entered into between any of the Owning Companies and a Charterer for the charter of any of the Vessels, for a charter period exceeding eighteen (18) months, in form and substance as approved by the Agent (on behalf of the Finance Parties).
Charterparty or “Charterparties” means collectively, all time, voyage or consecutive voyage charters, contracts of affreightment, transportation contracts or other contracts or arrangements from time to time entered into under this Agreement in respect of Agreement Vessels;
