Chargeable Event definition

Chargeable Event means, in relation to the Awards:
Chargeable Event means the occurrence by virtue of which the legal conditions necessary for VAT to become chargeable are fulfilled;
Chargeable Event means any event giving rise to Relevant Employment Income.

Examples of Chargeable Event in a sentence

  • Credit is available against appropriate tax relating to the Chargeable Event for appropriate tax paid by the Company or the Shareholder on any previous Deemed Disposal.

  • Credit is available against appropriate tax relating to the Chargeable Event for appropriate tax paid by the ICAV or the Shareholder on any previous Deemed Disposal.

  • Irish-Resident Shareholders Irish Resident Shareholders (who are not Exempt Irish Shareholders) will be liable to tax on the happening of a Chargeable Event.

  • On the occurrence of a Chargeable Event where no payment is made by the Company to the Shareholder, the Company may appropriate or cancel the required number of Shares to meet the tax liability.
