CHAPS definition

CHAPS means same day electronic transfer of funds payments in GBP in the UK made through the Clearing House Automated Payment System (CHAPS).

  • Following receipt of each monthly statement you must make payment of the Total Payment Amount in British pounds sterling either by BACS or CHAPS transfer to the bank account specified by us from time to time or by credit card (in which case the credit card charges stated below apply) no later than the 3rd working day after the 15th of each month.
