Caretaker definition

Caretaker means an individual who is responsible for the care, control, and supervision of a child (see section (15) of this rule). The status of "caretaker" ends once the individual no longer exercises care, control, and supervision of the child for 30 days.
Caretaker means an individual who is acting as parent for a child in the absence or because of the disability of the child's parent or stepparent and who is the child's legal guardian, grandparent, great grandparent, great-great grandparent, sibling, stepsibling, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle, nephew, niece, first cousin, or first cousin once-removed, a spouse of any person listed above, a parent of the putative father, or an unrelated individual aged 21 or older whose appointment as legal guardian of the child is pending.

More Definitions of Caretaker

Caretaker means a parent or an individual who is taking care of a child in the absence of a parent or an individual caring for a disabled individual as described in section 107b(1)(f)(v). A caretaker is not subject to the workforce engagement requirements established under section 107b if he or she is not a medical assistance recipient under section 105d.
