Care definition

Care as provided in this section applies to the individual with the covered health condition;
Care means the continued observation of a facility after closing for the purposes of detecting a need for maintenance, ensuring environmental safety, and determining compliance with applicable licensure and regulatory requirements and including the correction of problems which are detected as a result of that observation.
Care means the provision of assistance with activities of daily living to promote a resident's maximum independence and enhance the resident's quality of life. "Care" includes, but is not limited to, assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, money management, recreation, and medication management excluding assistance with self-medication.
