Card Schemes definition

Card Schemes means schemes governing the issue and use of Cards listed in Schedule 6, or as may be approved and notified by us to you in writing from time to time;
Card Schemes used interchangeably with Card Brands means VISA U.S.A., Inc., VISA International, Inc., MasterCard International, Inc., Discover Financial Services, American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc., PayPal® or any other payment network, as well as any other Card Issuer that provides Cards that are accepted by Merchant under this Agreement with HPS and, with respect to on-line debit Card Transactions the on-line Debit Networks.
Card Schemes means Visa Europe, Visa Inc, MasterCard Worldwide, UK Maestro, Solo and/or International Maestro and/or such other schemes governing the issue and use of Cards, as approved and notified by Us to You in writing from time to time (and "Card Scheme" shall be construed accordingly);

  • Merchant represents and warrants that its business is of such a nature that it periodically needs to receive updated cardholder account information and that Merchant does not belong to any high-risk categories as determined by any Card Schemes.

  • You agree that you will not contest the ownership of the Marks and acknowledge that the Card Schemes may, at any time without notice, prohibit you from using any of the Marks for any reason.

  • You agree to promptly comply with any variations which are initiated by the Card Schemes or are introduced by us and of which you are notified in writing by either us or the Card Schemes.
