Capacity Credit definition

Capacity Credit shall have the meaning specified in Operating Agreement, Schedule 11, including Capacity Credits obtained prior to the termination of such Schedule applicable to periods after the termination of such Schedule. Capacity Emergency Transfer Limit:
Capacity Credit or “CC” means a percentage of a resource’s nameplate capacity that can be counted towards resource adequacy requirements.
Capacity Credit means an entitlement to a specified number of megawatts of Unforced Capacity from a Capacity Resource for the purpose of satisfying capacity obligations imposed under the Reliability Assurance Agreement or Reliability Assurance Agreement-West, such entitlement not to include any entitlement to the output of the Capacity Resource. Solely for purposes of the PJM Installed Capacity Credit Markets, the term Capacity Credit also shall refer to credits for Installed Capacity during the Interim Period for the ComEd Zone.

  • The distribution licensee shall compute Capacity Credit (CC) factors for their contracted generation resources by applying the net load-based approach as outlined under Clause 10.2 of this Regulation.

More Definitions of Capacity Credit

Capacity Credit means the type, form and amount of generating capability required to service Retail Load as set forth by PJM in the Related Documents, but does not include any entitlement to any transmission Congestion Rights or to the output of the Capacity Resource.
