Canon definition

Canon means an enactment of the Synod declared so to be upon its adoption.
Canon means a fundamental principle governing the conduct of judicial employees. The broad statement of principle appearing before each major section of the code is the canon. There are four canons in this code.
Canon or “Canons” means an ecclesiastical rule or law as adopted and set out in these Canons and the Canons of The Episcopal Church.
