Canadian Defined Benefit Plan definition

Canadian Defined Benefit Plan means any Canadian Pension Plan which contains a “defined benefit provision” as defined in subsection 147.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

Canadian Defined Benefit Plan means a Canadian Pension Plan which is a “registered pension plan,” as defined in subsection 248(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and which contains a “defined benefit provision,” as defined in subsection 147.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

Canadian Defined Benefit Plan means a “registered pension plan”, as that term is defined in subsection 248(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada), which is or was sponsored, administered or contributed to, or required to be contributed to by, any Obligor or under which any Obligor has any actual or potential liability, and which contains a “defined benefit provision”, as defined in subsection 147.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
Canadian Defined Benefit Plan means a Canadian Pension Plan, including any Canadian MEPP that contains a “defined benefit provision,” as defined in subsection 147.1(1) of the ITA.
Canadian Defined Benefit Plan means any Canadian Pension Plan that is a “registered pension plan” as defined in subsection 248(1) of the ITA and which contains a “defined benefit provision” as defined in subsection 147.1(1) of the ITA, whether existing on the Closing Date or which would be considered a Canadian Defined Benefit Plan if assumed, adopted or otherwise participated in or contributed to by a Group Member for its employees or former employees in Canada thereafter.
