C-Check definition

C-Check means those tasks performed in accordance with the Maintenance Program which incorporates at a minimum the full requirements of the Maintenance Planning Document for those tasks to be normally performed at 20-month intervals in respect thereof.
C-Check means a block “C” check in accordance with the Maintenance Program in effect on the date when such check is carried out;
C-Check means the inspection, overhaul, repair, preservation and replacement of Parts of the Aircraft, including preventive maintenance, identified as a full block C Check under the Airframe manufacturer's maintenance manuals and planning documents. Such full block C Check shall include all structural inspections, corrosion control and other work normally completed in conjunction with each block C Check.

Examples of C-Check in a sentence

  • At return, the Airframe will have zero Flight Hours since such C-Check, except for the acceptance flights and the ferry flight to the Redelivery Location.

  • For a period of twenty-four months after the last day of the Lease Term, or, if earlier, the next C-Check of the Aircraft, and at Lessee's cost, Lessee shall continue to name each Indemnified Party as an additional insured under Lessee's comprehensive airline and war-risk liability insurance described in Exhibit F to the extent of its interest under the indemnities referred to in the preceding sentence.

  • Lessee shall effect and to maintain insurance after the Expiry Date with respect to its liability under the indemnities in Section 11 for the lesser of (a) two (2) years and (b) the date on which the next C-Check is completed after the Expiry Date, which provides for each Indemnitee to be named as additional insured.

  • In addition, Lessee shall give Lessor not less than five days' prior notice of the performance of any "C-Check" or "D-Check" of the Airframe so that Lessor can arrange to have a representative present during such checks.

  • The Airframe shall have completed, within 30 days prior to the Return Date, the next due “C-Check” under the Maintenance Program [*CTR*], and following such C-Check the Aircraft shall not be used in flight operations except for the demonstration flight described in Section R of this Annex B and ferry or delivery flights performed pursuant to the Return Conditions.


More Definitions of C-Check

C-Check means a "C" check (a complete zonal and systems check and the corresponding lower "A" and "B" checks or equivalent in accordance with the MPD) in accordance with the Maintenance Program;
C-Check means with respect to the Aircraft, (i) the accomplishment of Tasks that, at the time of such check, would require accomplishment prior to the next due c-check based upon the interval for each such Task in the MPD, and where such Tasks are controlled by Flight Hours, Cycles and/or calendar time, as applicable to each such Task and (ii) the rectification of each defect discovered during the accomplishment of such Tasks.
C-Check means a “C” Check, as such term is defined in the Maintenance Program relating to the Aircraft that meets the requirements of a “C” Check as defined in the Bombardier Inc. Maintenance Requirement Manual.
C-Check means any C check of a McDonnell Douglas Model MD-11 airframe as prescribed by the American Program.
C-Check means a maintenance check on the Airframe under the Approved Maintenance Program having an interval on completion of at least 7500 Flight Hours, 5000 Cycles, and 24 months and consisting of full and complete zonal, systems and structural check including the corresponding lower checks (“A” or equivalent) and any other maintenance and inspections tasks that are a part of such checks, all in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program.
C-Check has the meaning set forth in the Approved Maintenance Program.
C-Check means a block check performed on the Aircraft which includes accomplishment of all tasks designated by the MPD Document with a "C" interval and such other tasks designated by the MPD Document as having multiple "C", hour-based, cycle-based or calendar-based intervals as may then be due and sufficient to clear the Aircraft of scheduled tasks for the Manufacturer's recommended block "C" check interval .
