However, in the light of this feedback the University is to review how it might offer more targeted financial support to mature students and student parents (for example, through the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Bursary Fund) and whether some of the activities in the Junior University programme which are designed to support the development of study skills could be adapted for mature students.
Eligibility for, and participation in, the Bursary Plan, shall be in accordance with the University’s policy entitled Bursaries for Spouses and Dependents of University Employees, as it exists from time to time.
Additional funds will be allocated to enhance the hardship fund to be administered by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Bursary Fund Panel.

Our experience of administering the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Bursary Fund is that quite small amounts of support – provided in the form of, for example, food vouchers, book tokens and essential IT equipment – can make a substantial difference to students when given the opportunity to apply for support at different times of the year.
