Breaks definition

Breaks means seasonal periods during the Fall, Winter, and Spring that CU Boulder has designated as non-academic periods in its calendar.

Breaks is to be understood as any period of non-employment greater than two week caused by a downtown in business and excludes sick leave, compassionate, bereavement or parental leave. No more than 5 employees will be on the introductory level at any one time. If there is a need for an additional new employee, the employee closest to the end of their 12 month introductory period will be reclassified as Level 2 and paid accordingly.
