BMPs definition

BMPs means Best Management Practices used to control pollutants in stormwater runoff, as described in the Permit.
BMPs shall have the meaning set forth in Section 29(x).

More Definitions of BMPs

BMPs means best management practices for physical, structural, and/or managerial practices that, when used singularly or in combination, prevent or reduce pollutant discharges to waters of Washington State. These may include, but are not limited to, the schedules of activities, prohibitions of practices, maintenance procedures, and structural and/or managerial practices.
BMPs means best management practices. "Board" means Oklahoma Water Resources Board. "BOD" means biochemical oxygen demand. "Carcinogenic" means cancer producing.
BMPs means a variety of nonstructural and structural Best Management Practices that will be incorporated into the development plans for the Property. BMPs are further defined and detailed in Subsection 6.5.
BMPs means the Factors in the TGF-(beta) Superfamily Discovered solely by GI on or before May 31, 1998, which Factors include, without limitation, those Factors identified in Schedule 1.15 which is attached hereto. Notwithstanding the foregoing, BMPs shall exclude (a) the GPDC Factors and (b) any Factors in the TGF-beta Superfamily, the sequences for which are identified solely by GI using research strategies that do not use sequence homology with previously sequenced TGF-P Factors. The BMPs may be assigned to or selected by either GI (as a GI Factor) or MetaMorphix (as a MetaMorphix Factor) under this Agreement. BMPs shall not include Additional BMPs, GDFs, Additional GDFs, Collaborative Factors, Additional Collaborative Factors or Other TGF-beta Factors.
BMPs means measures designed to 1) prevent pollutants from leaving a specific area; 2) reduce/eliminate the introduction of pollutants; 3) protect sensitive areas or 4) prevent the interaction between precipitation and pollutants.
