The BEAD Program provides federal funding for grants to Eligible Entities for broadband planning, deployment, mapping, equity, and adoption activities.
Under the BEAD program, Grantee must document the expenditure of a minimum of 25% of qualifying matching funds related to the Project, although that percentage may be higher based on Grantee’s Application and other terms of the award.
The Grantee and any subgrantees, contractors, or subcontractors must comply with all generally applicable environmental laws and regulations unless explicitly exempt under the BEAD NOFO, any supplemental guidance release by NTIA, or the terms and conditions of this agreement or the prime agreement between NTIA and the State.
The Grantee shall be liable to the State for all Grant Funds, up to the entire amount received through the BEAD program.
NOTE: Under the BEAD NOFO, Grantee must complete the Project and begin providing services to each customer within the Project area no later than four years from the date of execution of this Grant Agreement.
