Bathing beach definition
Bathing beach means a Public Bathing Beach as defined in the Act.
Bathing beach means the designated area of a natural or artificially constructed pond, lake, stream, river, bay, tidal waters, ocean or other body of fresh or salt water, which is used for bathing and swimming purposes together with buildings, equipment, and appurtenances, if any, and the land areas used in connection therewith.
Bathing beach means a beach or bathing area offered to the public for recreational bathing or swimming. It does not include a public swimming pool as defined in section 12521.

Bathing beach means a bathing place, together with buildings and appurtenances, on a natural pond, lake, stream, or other body of fresh or salt water that is open to the public for bathing by express permission of the owner, oper- ated for a fee, or openly advertised as a place for bathing by the public.
Bathing beach or "Public Bathing Beach" means any body of water, except a swimming pool as defined in this Part, or that portion thereof used for the purpose of public swimming or recreational bathing, and includes beaches at: apartments, condominiums, subdivisions, and other groups or associations having 5 or more living units, clubs, churches, camps, schools, institutions, parks, recreational areas, motels, hotels and other commercial establishments. It includes shores, equipments, buildings and appurtenances pertaining to such areas. It does not include bathing beaches at private residences intended only for the use of the owner and guests.
