Basic Severance definition

Basic Severance means payment of (1) any Base Salary earned but unpaid as of the Termination Date; (2) any business expenses incurred but not reimbursed under Section 5 as of the Termination Date; and (3) payment in lieu of any vacation accrued under Section 7 but unused as of the Termination Date.
Basic Severance is defined in Section 2.8(b).
Basic Severance means payment of (1) any earned but unpaid Base Salary through the date of your termination; (2) any earned but unpaid Annual Bonus for any fiscal year that ended prior to your termination; and (3) reimbursement of approved expenses due to you pursuant to Section 5.

Examples of Basic Severance in a sentence

  • In order to receive a Basic Severance Benefit, you must terminate employment with the “Company,” which, as noted above, refers collectively to Accuride and all of its Affiliates.

  • The Basic Severance Benefit also will be payable to you if prior to the commencement of the Protection Period or following the close of the Protection Period, the Company terminates your employment without “Cause” (as defined in Section 7).

  • The Basic Severance Benefit, the Change in Control Benefits (except as otherwise provided in Section 3(d)) and the other payments or benefits provided pursuant to this Agreement will be payable without regard to whether you look for or obtain alternative employment following your termination of employment with the Company.

  • Except as provided in Section 4, the Basic Severance Benefit will be paid in a single lump sum payment within five business days following the date on which the Release Agreement required pursuant to Section 8 becomes irrevocable.

  • In the event that you breach any of your obligations under Section 8, the Employer’s obligation, if any, to make payments and provide benefits under Section 10 (other than payment of the Basic Severance) shall immediately and permanently cease and you shall not be entitled to any such payments or benefits.


More Definitions of Basic Severance

Basic Severance means two weeks of base pay for each full year of service by the employee with the Contributor or any Affiliate (or predecessors of either, to the extent service therefor is credited by the Contributor), subject to a 52 week maximum and a 12 week minimum; provided, however, that with respect to any employee who has an employment agreement that contains provisions providing for one or more payments in the event of a change in control of the Contributor, "Basic Severance" means up to 52 weeks of base pay notwithstanding the employee's years of service.
