Basic Cable definition

Basic Cable has the meaning currently or hereafter commonly understood in the television industry, but will also include for all purposes of this Agreement any broadcast or other transmission (whether by satellite or otherwise) to television sets or other television devices, now or hereafter known, of a program service (other than any free television terrestrial broadcast station)
Basic Cable means the cable television services described as Basic on Schedule 5.11. -------------
Basic Cable means the tier of Cable Service regularly provided to all Subscribers that includes the retransmission of local broadcast television signals.

Examples of Basic Cable in a sentence

  • Licensee shall make available a Basic Cable Service tier to all subscribers in accordance with 47 U.S.C. 534.

More Definitions of Basic Cable

Basic Cable means any service tier that includes the retransmission of local television broadcast signals and any other programming provided by the Grantee.
Basic Cable is the lowest priced tier of Cable Service that includes the retransmission of local broadcast television signals.
Basic Cable means non-broadcast television programming that is transmitted to the viewer via cable, satellite, wireless, or internet protocol for a basic subscription fee, as opposed to a separate channel or group of channels for which the viewer pays a separate per program or per channel fee (which fee is a substantial charge relative to other charges made to the subscriber.)

Basic Cable means the cable television service described as "Studio One" or a higher level of cable service in Section 3(o) of the Disclosure Schedule.
