Basement or cellar definition

Basement or cellar means lower storey of a building, below or partly below the ground level;
Basement or cellar means the storey of a building, which is next below the ground storey of such building or which is in any part more than half of its height below the mean level of the street or ground adjoining the building, with one or more than one levels;
Basement or cellar means the lower storey of a building partly or wholly below the ground level or the abutting road level, whichever is higher;

Basement or cellar means all of that portion of a building between two (2) floor levels which has one half (1/2) or more of the height of its walls, from finished floor to finished ceiling, below grade level.
