Balloon Bonds definition

Balloon Bonds means, unless otherwise provided in the related Supplemental Indenture, Bonds (and/or Security Instrument Repayment Obligations relating thereto), other than Bonds which mature within one year of the date of issuance thereof, 25% or more of the Principal Installments on which (a) are due or, (b) at the option of the Owner thereof may be redeemed, during any period of twelve consecutive months; provided, however, that to constitute Balloon Bonds, the Issuer must so designate such Bonds.
Balloon Bonds means Bonds, other than Bonds which mature within one year of the date of issuance thereof, 25% or more of the Principal Installments on which (a) are due or, (b) at the option of the Holder thereof may be redeemed, during any period of a Year.
Balloon Bonds means a series or subseries of Parity Bonds designated as such in the applicable Parity Bond Authorizing Resolution, the aggregate Principal of which becomes due and payable, either at maturity or by mandatory redemption, in any fiscal year in an amount that constitutes 25% or more of the initial aggregate Principal of that series or subseries of Parity Bonds.

Examples of Balloon Bonds in a sentence

  • For the purpose of calculating the Annual Debt Service on Balloon Bonds (A) which are not subject to a Commitment and (B) which have a Balloon Date within 12 months from the date of calculation, the Principal payable on such Bonds on the Balloon Date shall be calculated as if paid on the Balloon Date.

Balloon Bonds means the principal amount of Subordinate Bonds of a

Balloon Bonds means any Series of Bonds, or any portion of a Series of Bonds, designated by a Determination as Balloon Bonds, (a) 25% or more of the principal payments (including mandatory sinking fund payments) of which are due in a single year, or (b) 25% or more of the principal of which may, at the option of the holder or holders thereof, be redeemed at one time; provided, however that a Variable Rate Bond which is able to be redeemed at the option of the Holder shall not constitute a Balloon Bond."
Balloon Bonds means any series of Second Lien Parity Bonds 25% or more of the Principal of which (i) is due in any 12-month period or (ii) may, at the option of the Registered Owners, be required to be redeemed, prepaid, purchased directly or indirectly by the Water District, or otherwise paid in any 12-month period; provided that, in calculating the Principal of such Bonds due or required to be redeemed, prepaid, purchased, or otherwise paid in any 12-month period, such Principal shall be reduced to the extent that all or any portion of such amount is required to be redeemed or amortized prior to such 12-month period.
Balloon Bonds means Bonds of a Series designated as such by Supplemental Resolution adopted in connection with the issuance thereof, for which either (1) no serial maturities or Sinking Fund Installments prior to the maturity thereof have been established, or (2) the aggregate of such serial maturities and Sinking Fund Installments that have been established is less than the amount necessary to amortize such Bonds on a substantially level debt service basis.
Balloon Bonds means any series of Bonds or any portion of a series of Bonds designated by the Authority in a resolution as Balloon Bonds, (a) 25% or more of the principal payments (including Mandatory Sinking Fund Requirements) of which are due in a single year, or (b) 25% or more of the principal of which may, at the option of the holder or holders thereof, be redeemed at one time.
