Award Pool definition

Award Pool means, for a Performance Period, the dollar amount calculated in accordance with Section 7.2(b) by applying the Performance Formula for such Performance Period against the Performance Goals for the same Performance Period.
Award Pool means the total dollars available for funding Incentive Awards under the Plan for an applicable Plan Year. The Award Pool is comprised of the Associates’ Pool and the Principals’ Pool.
Award Pool means a hypothetical cash amount equal to two percent (2%) of the Pretax Earnings for a specified Performance Year. Pretax Earnings for this purpose may not include Pretax Earnings from any period not included in the designated Performance Year and, if Performance Years overlap, the Committee must specify counting rules so that the aggregate of Award Pools for such Performance Years does not exceed the limit of two percent (2%) of the Pretax Earnings during the relevant periods.

Examples of Award Pool in a sentence

  • Each Performance Unit that may be settled in Shares shall be counted as a number of Shares subject to an Award, based on the number of Shares that would be paid under the Performance Unit for achievement of target performance, with the number determined by dividing the value of the Performance Unit at the time of grant by the Fair Market Value of a Share at the time of grant, and this number shall be deducted from the Award Pool.
