Average Grade definition

Average Grade means the average elevation of the finished ground surface, around all sides of a building or structure, measured where the building or structure meets the ground surface, excluding:
Average Grade means the mean elevation of the land measured at the set-back line between the side lot lines.
Average Grade. Means the average of the natural existing topography of the portion of the lot, parcel, or a tract of real property which will be directly under the proposed building or structure: PROVIDED, that in the case of structures to be built over the water, average grade shall be the elevation of the ordinary high water mark. Calculation of the average grade shall be made by averaging the elevations at the center of all exterior walls of the proposed building or structure.

Average Grade means, when determining the maximum area of a horizontal cross section through a building in the M-CG, M-C1 and M-C2 Districts, the average of the four geodetic elevation points of finished grade immediately adjacent to the primary four corners of a building.

Average Grade means the geodetic elevation at ground level adjoining the main front wall of the main entrance of the Proposed Residential Building;
Average Grade means a horizontal line approximating the ground elevation through each building on a site used for calculating the exterior volume of a building. Average grade is calculated separately for each building.
