The Parties will comply with periodic security controls compliance assessment and monitoring by the Information Owner as required by state and federal law, based on the type of Confidential Information the Party creates, receives, maintains, uses, discloses or has access to and the Authorized Purpose and level of risk.
The Parties will not attempt to re-identify or further identify Confidential Information or De-identified Information, or attempt to contact any Individuals whose records are contained in the Confidential Information, except for an Authorized Purpose, without express written authorization from the Information Owner or as expressly permitted by the Base Contract.
Exercise reasonable care and no less than the same degree of care Contractor uses to protect its own confidential, proprietary and trade secret information to prevent Confidential Information from being used in a manner that is not expressly an Authorized Purpose or as Required by Law.
