Authorized Device definition

Authorized Device means a server, partition, computer, or any other virtual or otherwise emulated hardware system controlled or owned by Customer that meets the requirements for operation of the Software as identified in the Software Documentation. Each Authorized Device, including its operating system, must be of a type on which the Software is designed to be used. If the Software license is subject to any quantity or Seat restrictions, Customer is authorized to maintain the Software on the number of Authorized Devices as set forth in the applicable Invoice.
Authorized Device means mobile devices (a) owned and controlled by you; (b) if you are retained to perform an Investigation by a third party, owned by such third party; or (c) owned by an individual that has expressly, voluntarily, and specifically authorized you in writing, without coercion or threat of reprisal, to perform an Extraction of their mobile device.
Authorized Device means one or more of Participant’s systems that meet the specifications and requirements (including, but not limited to, interface and operational requirements), set forth by FINRA. Specifications and requirements for Authorized Devices are available from FINRA upon request and may be modified from time to time by FINRA in its sole discretion. FINRA will use best efforts to provide at least ninety (90) days’ advance notice (if other than a routine or minor change) unless (a) a malfunction in the Service necessitates modifications on an accelerated basis; (b) an emergency situation precludes such advance notice; or (c) a shorter time period is required pursuant to an Order of a court, an arbitrator(s), or a regulatory agency.

  • In order to access the On Demand Library Content, you will need a compatible viewing device, such as a PC or a portable/handset device, that (i) meets the minimum technical requirements that Verizon may establish from time to time, (ii) supports the digital rights management system, if any, required for access to the On Demand Library Content, and (iii) has been registered with your On Demand Enabled Account (each, a "On Demand Authorized Device").

  • For purposes of this Agreement, “use” of the software means loading the Software into the temporary or permanent memory of an Authorized Device.

Transfers. Transfers of Solutions are only permitted only when: (a) Client is in receipt of a prior written consent of Fortra, which may be withheld by Fortra in Fortra’s sole discretion; (b) Client has paid any additional fee which Fortra may charge Client in Fortra’s sole discretion; (c) Client transfers the most recent production release of the Solution, including any and all updates to the Solution; (d) the Solution is removed from the Authorized Device or from Authorized Users from which it is transferred, and (e) if applicable, Client is current on all of its Maintenance Fees.
Authorized Device means television sets, internet connected smart televisions and DVD/Blu-ray players, computers, game consoles, mobile devices, karaoke microphones, memory cards or handheld devices (including tablets and smart phones), HDMI-connected dongles, set top boxes (e.g. Apple TV, TiVo, Roku, and Google TV) and/or multi-channel video programming Label boxes of users in the Territories.
