A fully executed and approved authorization in the form of Attachment 6 to this Agreement, Authorization to Proceed (“ATP”) accompanied by an executed purchase order document issued by the Owner to the Project Consultant, authorizing the performance of specific professional services, authorizing commencement of a Phase as defined in Article 2.1 through Article 2.8, and stating the time for completion and the amount of fee authorized for such services.
The Project Consultant agrees to start all work hereunder upon receipt of an Authorization to Proceed issued by the Chief Facilities and Construction Officer or his designee and to complete each Phase within the time stipulated in the Authorization To Proceed (Attachment 6 to this Agreement (“ATP”)) and as required by the Project Schedule (Attachment 1 to this Agreement).
The QA program shall be implemented upon the issuance of Authorization to Proceed and continue for the duration of activities covered by this program.
Prior to starting any of the services under this Agreement, CONSULTANT shall be in receipt of a written Authorization to Proceed issued by the Designated Representative that identifies the specific services authorized to proceed.
Consultant shall not proceed with the next task of the Work until the documents have been approved, in writing, by City, and an Authorization to Proceed with the next task has been issued by City.
