Authoritative Copy definition

Authoritative Copy means, with respect to an eNote, the unique copy of such eNote that is within the Control of the Controller.
Authoritative Copy. With respect to any Electronic Contract, a copy of such Contract that is unique, identifiable and, except as otherwise provided in Section 9-105 of the UCC, unalterable, and is marked “original” or has no watermark or other marking that would indicate that it is a “copy” or “duplicate” or not an original or not an “authoritative” copy.
Authoritative Copy means, with respect to any Electronic Contract that constitutes Electronic Chattel Paper, the authoritative copy thereof, as such term is used in Section 9-105 of the UCC.

More Definitions of Authoritative Copy

Authoritative Copy means a copy of an Electronic Loan Document that has not been altered since it was (i) delivered for effect, if it was not required to be signed, or (ii) signed.
Authoritative Copy means the copy of an eNote or other electronic record that is designated by the agreement of the parties to the transaction, MERS system rule, or MERS system design as the unique controlling reference copy. Either the Controller on the MERS eRegistry or a custodian maintains the Authoritative Copy of the eNote.
