PROVIDER understands that acceptance of funds under this Agreement constitutes acceptance of the authority of the Texas State Auditor's Office, or any successor agency (collectively, “Auditor”), to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds pursuant to Section 51.9335(c), Texas Education Code.
The Subgrantee acknowledges and agrees that the bodies mentioned in Article 25 of the GA (e.g. granting authority (EIT), Commission, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) and the European Anti-fraud Office (XXXX), etc.) can exercise their rights also towards the Subgrantee.
The State Auditors of Public Accounts shall have access to all records and accounts for the fiscal year(s) in which the award was made.
By executing this Agreement, the City accepts the authority of the Texas State Auditor's Office to conduct audits and investigations in connection with all Principal Forgiveness Funds received pursuant to this Agreement.
The Respondent shall retain all such records for a period of four (4) years after the expiration of the Contract, or until the CPA or State Auditor's Office is satisfied that all audit and litigation matters are resolved, whichever period is longer.
