Examples of ASX Settlement Rules in a sentence
Subject to this Constitution, the Listing Rules and the Stapling Provisions, a member may transfer all or any of the member’s shares by a market transfer in accordance with any computerised or electronic system established or recognised by the Listing Rules or the Corporations Act for the purpose of facilitating transfers in shares, including a transfer that takes effect pursuant to the ASX Settlement Rules or some other computerised or electronic transfer process.
Except as provided by the ASX Settlement Rules, a transfer is not effective until registered and the transferor of a share remains the holder of that share until the transfer is registered and the name of the transferee is entered in the register in respect of that share.
ASX Settlement Rules means ASX Settlement Operating Rules of ASX Settlement Pty Ltd (ABN 49 008 504 532).
For the purposes of such sale or disposal, the directors may initiate (capitalised terms have the same meaning as they are given in the ASX Settlement Rules) a Holding Adjustment to move all of the Relevant Shares from a CHESS Holding to an Issuer Sponsored Holding or a certificated holding or take any other action they consider necessary or desirable to effect the sale or disposal.
CDI holders are also entitled to receive notice of any general meeting in accordance with the ASX Settlement Rules.
