Architect/Engineer definition

Architect/Engineer means the person designated by the Commissioner to provide the Contract drawings and Detailed Specifications for the Work you are to perform.
Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the Person identified in the Agreement responsible for providing professional design services and construction contract administration for the Project. The A/E shall be (1) a registered architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, (2) a landscape architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Landscape Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, or (3) a professional engineer or professional surveyor holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4733. As used in the Agreement, the term A/E may include a criteria architect or engineer for a Design-Build project.
Architect/Engineer means the individual, individuals, and or firm identified as the “Architect- Engineer” in the preamble of Contract executed by and between the District and the Architect- Engineer for the Project.

  • The Architect/Engineer shall complete those duties set forth in Article 1, Paragraphs 1.1 through 1.1.41 of Exhibit 1, Master A&E Terms and Conditions on or before (Substantial Completion date) and one year warranty inspection(s) as may be required of the construction contract work by (Contract Completion date) as identified in the SOW Agreement.

  • The Architect/Engineer shall provide the professional services utilizing his or her requisite skills, ability, and judgment reasonably and without neglect.

  • The Architect/Engineer shall include one (1) complete set of as-builts, which shall be submitted to the State prior to final payment for basic services to the Architect/Engineer.

  • It is the obligation of the Architect/Engineer to immediately notify State of the delay and to initiate a change order amending and extending the date in Paragraph 4 above, within 30 days.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, the Architect/Engineer shall be licensed in Vermont before executing this contract and shall maintain his or her license for the duration of this project.


More Definitions of Architect/Engineer

Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the professional architect or engineer employed by Owner as architect or engineer of record for the Project and its consultants.

Code § 1001.001, et seq or firm employed to provide professional architectural or engineering services and having overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, if applicable.
Architect/Engineer means the legally approved professional Architect/Engineer, or group or association or professional corporation of such approved professional Architect/Engineers, engineers and consultants, who have contracted with the Principal Representative to accomplish the architectural and engineering services necessary to the Project.
Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the Person responsible for providing professional design services and construction contract administration for the Project as provided in the Contract Documents.
Architect/Engineer means , the architectural and engineering firm contracted by Owner to perform all of the professional architectural and engineering design services, and any licensed professionals and other personnel working under the Architect/Engineer’s supervision, or otherwise engaged by Owner to prepare the design for all or a portion of the Project.
