archaeological officer definition

archaeological officer means an officer of the Department of Archaeology of the Government of India not lower in rank than Assistant Superintendent of Archaeology;
archaeological officer means an officer of the Government appointed for the purpose of exercising the powers conferred on, and performing the functions assigned to, an archaeological officer under this Act, and includes any other officer authorised by the Government to exercise or perform all or any of such powers and functions;
archaeological officer means the archaeologist appointed under section 30; “Archivist” means the archivist appointed under section 39;
