Applicable Authority definition

Applicable Authority means (a) with respect to SOFR, the SOFR Administrator or any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the Administrative Agent or the SOFR Administrator and (b) with respect to any Alternative Currency, the applicable administrator for the Relevant Rate for such Alternative Currency or any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the Administrative Agent or such administrator.

Applicable Authority means (i) any supranational organization or any state or political subdivision thereof, (ii) any authority exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions on behalf of the supranational organization, the state or its political subdivision, including without limitation any supranational authority, government authority, ministry, agency, department, board, commission or instrumentality and subdivisions thereof, pursuant to the rights granted thereto by applicable Law.
