Alternate method definition
Alternate method means demonstrating mastery of state curriculum academic content standards through an End of Course Project designed and approved by the State Board of Education. An End of Course Project is a project integrating and applying the knowledge and skills gained throughout a course to address a practical, real world challenge.
Alternate method means the collection of data to support or replace a measurement required by this subarticle. An alternate method may include a calculated value based on accurate measurements of system inputs and outputs or based on a conservative calculation using previously collected quality assured data.
Alternate method means a proposal from an alternate approval process permit applicant to meet the standard of care for fire life safety protection for the items listed in section (2) of this rule as required by the state building code for a dwelling conversion in a manner other than what is listed in code, including consideration of alternate construction methods and materials that achieve equivalent safety.¶
