After the occurrence of a significant incident/event at a workplace, all Workers involved in the incident may be required to undergo an initial Drug and Alcohol test.
For the purposes of this policy, Drug and Alcohol test means a test for the detection of at least the following: alcohol, amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, propoxyphene, benzodaizepines, marijuana, methadone, methaqualone, opiates, and phencyclidine (PCP).
Alcohol test must be administered within two hours and controlled substance tests within thirty-two hours.
An Employee who has a positive Drug or Alcohol test which is found to be incorrect, shall be returned to work with no loss of pay, benefits or seniority.
