AIRC means the Australian Industrial Relations Commission. Basic periodic rate of pay (refer to section 178 of the Act) means a rate of pay for a period worked (however the rate is described) that does not include incentive-based payments and bonuses, loadings, monetary allowances, penalty rates or any other similar separately identifiable entitlements.

It should be noted that in the event that DEWR rates subscription service ceases to be available, alternative arrangements to update allowance rates identified as being provided by this service will be implemented by the Agency Agreement Implementation Group.
