Adverse impact on visibility means, for purposes of section 307, visibility impairment which interferes with the management, protection, preservation, or enjoyment of the visitor's visual experience of the Federal Class I area.
Adverse impact on visibility as it applies to Section 11(3)(c) of this administrative regulation shall be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the geographic extent, intensity, duration, frequency, and time of visibility impairments, and how these factors correlate with the times of visitor use of the Class I area, and the frequency and time of natural conditions that reduce visibility.
