Adoption services definition
Adoption services means the same as that term is defined in Section 80-2-801.

Adoption services means, except as used in Section 80-2-806:
Adoption services means activities conducted in furtherance of an adoption and includes the activities listed in A.A.C. R21-5-303 and R21-9-201(B).

Adoption services means services provided by a child-placing or child welfare agency and include identifying a child for adoption and arranging an adoption, securing necessary relinquishment for or consent to adoption or termination of parental rights, performing a home study on a prospective adoptive parent, and reporting on such a study, making determinations of the best interest of a child and the appropriateness of adoptive placement for the child, post-placement monitoring of a case until final adoption, and where made necessary by disruption before final adoption, assuming custody and providing child care or any other social service pending an alternative placement.
