Definition of Active Business


Active Business means the business conducted by each of the ATOB Entities as of the applicable distribution date.


Active Business means the business conducted by each of the Active Business Entities (as defined herein) as of the Distribution Date.

Active Business means an active trade or business relied upon to satisfy the requirements of Section 355 of the Code as set forth in the Ruling Request, as defined below, and in the opinion being delivered by counsel in connection with the Distribution.

More definitions of Active Business

Active Business means each of (a) the Ownership Business, the HLT Retained Business and the Timeshare Business, in each case taken as a whole, (b) the Select Hotels Business taken as a whole (or any hotel included therein) and (c) the Hotel Laundry Business taken as a whole (or any laundry facility included therein).


Active Business means, with respect to the Distribution, the business conducted by the relevant ATOB Entities as of the Distribution Date, or, with respect to any other relevant transaction described in the Plan of Reorganization, the business conducted by the relevant ATOB Entities as of the date of such transaction.
