Acquiring Services definition

Acquiring Services means the services provided by the Company to the Merchant under this Agreement.

Acquiring Services means the services that the Bank, in its capacity as an Acquiring Bank, makes available and renders to You, which include but are not limited to:

• Merchant will not access and/or utilize the Acquiring Services for illegal purposes and will not interfere or disrupt networks connected with the Acquiring Services.

• Under Network Rules, the Company does not own the Card account, Cardholder, personal, or other payment transaction information generated when a payment transaction is processed using the Acquiring Services.

• Client acknowledges and agrees that its sole remedies with respect to the WEX Full Acquiring services shall be against Bank for the WEX Full Acquiring Services and not WEX, except to the extent that WEX knows of any fraud related to the WEX Cards and fails to provide notice of such fraud or WEX commits fraud in respect to the WEX Full Acquiring Services.

• First Data will provide the Acquiring Services to the Company also for its transactions that are initiated with Cards issued by additional Networks (other than those falling under clause 1.1) that are identified in this Agreement.

• SENIOR CITIZENS HOUSING means a dwelling unit or accommodation sponsored and administered by any public agency or any non‐profit organization, either of which obtains its financial assistance from Federal, Provincial, or Municipal Governments or agencies or public subscriptions or donation or any combinations thereof.
