Absolute TSR definition
Absolute TSR means the Company’s TSR during the Performance Period.
Absolute TSR means, on a percentage basis, with respect to the Company or any component company of the Comparator Group set forth in Annex A hereto, the price appreciation of such entity’s common stock plus the value of reinvested dividends, calculated using the average closing price for the 20 consecutive trading days ending immediately prior to the first day of the relevant period and the 20 consecutive trading days ending immediately prior to and including the last day of the relevant period, as reasonably determined by the Committee.
Absolute TSR means the Company’s Total Shareholder Return.

The Company’s Absolute TSR is a Performance Criterion that will not be compared to similar Peer Company performance over the applicable period.
The Absolute TSR Criterion is one-hundred percent (100%) of the total weighting for fifty percent (50%) of the Performance Stock Units awarded under this Agreement.
The number of Absolute TSR PRSUs that will vest at the end of the Performance Period shall be determined by comparing the MFA’s Average TSR to the Target TSR (8% per year), up to a maximum vesting of 200% of the Absolute TSR Target Award.
Any Absolute TSR PRSUs that do not vest at the end of the TSR Performance Period shall be forfeited.
MFA’s Average TSR will be compared to the Target TSR to determine whether and to what extent the Absolute TSR PRSUs will vest.

Absolute TSR means, for any specified period, the annual internal rate of return, on a compounded basis, of an investment in a Company Investment during such specified period, inclusive of any dividends (if any) declared and paid during such specified period on shares of the Company’s common stock comprising such Company Investment and with the value of the shares of the Company’s common stock comprising such Company Investment as of the end of such specified period being determined on the basis of the Market Value thereof as of the last day of such specified period.

Absolute TSR means absolute total stockholder return. “AROs” means asset retirement obligations.
Absolute TSR means, for the period for which the calculation is being tested, the Company’s total annual return (expressed as a percentage) calculated by dividing (i) the difference obtained by subtracting (1) the Baseline Value from (2) the sum of (a) the highest Common Share Price among those calculated for every Averaging Period ending on a day within the period of ninety (90) consecutive days immediately preceding the Final Valuation Date; plus (b) an amount equal to the sum of the total dividends and other distributions actually declared or paid between the Effective Date and the Final Valuation Date (excluding dividends and distributions paid in the form of additional Common Shares or Units so long as the sum of all such in-kind dividends and distributions are reflected in the Baseline Value and the Common Share Price throughout the TSR Performance Period) so long as the “ex-dividend” date with respect thereto falls prior to the Final Valuation Date, in respect of Common Shares and Class A Units by (ii) the Baseline Value. Absolute TSR means, with respect to the Measurement Period, the average, compounded, annual (or annualized) return (expressed as a percentage) that would have been realized by a shareholder who (A) bought one Common Share at the Common Share Price on the Effective Date, (B) reinvested each distribution declared during the Measurement Period with respect to such Common Share (and any other Common Shares, or fractions thereof, previously received upon reinvestment of distributions or on account of distributions), without deduction for any taxes with respect to such distributions or any charges in connection with such reinvestment, in additional Common Shares at a price per Common Share equal to (i) the Fair Market Value on the trading day immediately preceding the ex-dividend date for such distribution less (ii) the amount of such distribution, and (C) sold such Common Shares on the Valuation Date at the Common Share Price as of such date, without deduction for any taxes with respect to any gain on such sale or any charges in connection with such sale. As set forth in, and pursuant to, Section 7 of this Agreement, appropriate adjustments to the Absolute TSR shall be made to take into account all share dividends, share splits, reverse share splits and the other events set forth in Section 7 hereof that occur during the Measurement Period.
