AAV Vector definition

AAV Vector means the recombinant adeno-associated virus vector as defined in the Licensed Patents.
AAV Vector means a recombinant adeno-associated virus gene vector composed of a viral capsid and a genome. Without limiting the definition of AAV Vector, the term “AAV[*]” shall mean an AAV Vector of capsid serotype [*] and the term “AAV[*]” shall mean an AAV Vector of capsid serotype [*].
AAV Vector means any adeno-associated virus vector, including the capsid.

  • To the extent any AAV Vector Manufacturing Information falls within any exception set forth in Section 6.2, the foregoing restrictions shall not apply with respect thereto.

AAV Vector an adeno-associated virus vector composed of a transgene cassette with limited length (approximately 4.5 kb) flanked by an ITR DNA sequence. “Affiliate” - any company, partnership or other business entity which controls, is controlled by or is under common control with either Party. For the purposes of this definition only, “control” refers to any of the following (a) the possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct the management or policies of an entity, whether through ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise; (b) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the voting securities entitled to vote for the election of directors in the case of a corporation, or of fifty percent (50%) or more of the equity interest in the case of any other type of legal entity; (c) status as a general partner in any partnership, or any other arrangement whereby a Party controls or has the right to control the board of directors or equivalent governing body of a corporation or other entity.
AAV Vector means an adeno-associated virus gene vector composed of a viral capsid comprising three proteins known as VP1, VP2 and VP3, wherein the genome is a single-strand DNA molecule flanked by inverted terminal repeats, excluding any heterologous non- adeno-associated-virus nucleic acid sequence (other than Mydicar), taken by itself, or any data, know-how, or information specific to such DNA molecule or sequence.
AAV Vector means an adeno-associated virus gene vector composed of a viral capsid comprising three proteins known as VP1, VP2 and VP3, wherein the genome is a single-strand DNA molecule flanked by inverted terminal repeats ("ITRs").
AAV Vector means a vector derived from an adeno-associated virus.
