Background. Under its regime of restrictive measures dedicated to fighting the proliferation and use of chemical weapons and their precursors, the European Union has imposed restrictive measures on persons and entities in Russia linked to the Salisbury attack in 2018 and the poisoning of Mr ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in 2020. In Syria, the EU has imposed restrictive measures on entities and persons responsible for development and use of chemical weapons, in particular for the attacks that took place in august 2013 in Ghouta, March 2017 in Ltamenah and 2018 in Douma. Moreover, the European Union continues its active participation in the Partnership against Impunity for the Use of Chemical Weapons.

(10) Education in Norway is mandatory for all children aged from 6 to 16 and is provided through a system of free public schools. This system is divided into a compulsory elementary school (age 6 to 13), a compulsory lower secondary school (age 13 to 16), and the upper secondary school (age 16 to 19).
(11) In 2006 the Norwegian authorities decided in the course of the ‘Knowledge Promotion Initiative’ (Kunnskapsløftet) that all Norwegian schools were to emphasise certain basic skills in all subjects. One of these skills is the ability to learn a given subject by using information and communication technology. This requirement was introduced in the national curricula for pupils in the 10-year compulsory school (i.e. school for grades 1 to 9) and for pupils in the first year of upper secondary education (i.e. school for grades 10 to 12) and apprenticeships. Under the Norwegian Education act (4) the county municipalities are responsible for meeting these requirements. Furthermore, in 2007 the Norwegian authorities amended the Education act and obliged the county municipalities to provide the pupils with the necessary printed and digital learning materials free of charge.
(12) It should be noted that until that time, pupils in Norwegian upper secondary school (grades 10 to 12) had to purchase their learning material themselves based on the choice of learning material designated by the schools in compliance with the national curricula (5). Under the new Education act, county municipalities are obliged to provide all learning material, i.e. digital learning material as well as physical learning material such as books, to pupils free of charge (6).

Background. STU has an extended background in the description of production processes by a system of distributed parameters (dynamical system described by partial differential equations see attached document “Selected topics on prospective cooperation” and the book “Control of technological and production processes as distributed parameter systems” ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Slovak University of Technology Bratislava, ISBN 978-80-227-4290-0). Based on an abstract description of a production process the approach delivers the capability to predict the behavior of systems and how these systems will behave due to the change of parameters. Target of the approach is for example to identify optimal process parameters. Examples for such application that were addressed by STU in the past are: • Shape Casting • Continuous casting • Induction heating • Plastic extrusion • Groundwater remediation The framework of STU called the “distributed parameter system blockset” is currently implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. STU has developed capabilities to encapsulate process modelling in this approach like a link to ProCAST for shape casting and continuous casting.
