Thermostats. Lessor shall provide and install 7-day digital, programmable thermostats, type VisionPRO 8000, as manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc., or approved equal. Model of thermostat to be that which is most compatible with HVAC equipment. Location of control(s) shall be as determined by the landlord’s engineer, and as approved by the PLCB. There shall be one thermostat per HVAC unit.

Programmable Thermostats: Nicor Gas shall remove programmable thermostats from most residential offerings, including the prescriptive rebate, retail, and single family direct installation offerings. Nicor Gas may continue to include programmable thermostats in the multifamily direct installation and single-family offerings, including moderate income single family and multi- family program offerings, where the customer’s circumstances substantially prevent it from taking advantage of smart thermostat technology.

SCHEDULE “2” Heating Valve: Heating valves will be Honeywell normally open two-way valve with a 2-5 psi spring range. Contractor will select the proper size and Cv rating for the application. All new or relocated VAV boxes will receive a new heating valve. Heating Water Piping: Piping will be type L copper with wrought copper fittings. Piping will be insulated with one-inch thick molded fiberglass insulation with a vapor barrier. Each VAV will have an individual shut off valves on the supply and return lines placed within 2.5 feet of the heating control valve.
