Tender Validity. The Tender shall have a minimum validity period of ninety days from the last date for submission of the Tender. The Purchaser may solicit the Tenderer's consent to an extension of the validity period of the Tender. The request and the response thereto shall be made in writing. If the Tenderer agrees to extension of validity period of the Tender, the validity period of the Tender security shall also be suitably extended. The Tenderer may refuse extension of validity period of the Tender, without forfeiting the Tender security.
Tender Validity. If not mentioned otherwise in the SIT, the tenders shall remain valid for acceptance for a period of 9 months from the date of tender opening prescribed in the TE document. Any tender valid for a shorter period shall be treated as unresponsive and rejected. In exceptional cases, the bidders may be requested by the purchaser to extend the validity of their tenders up to a specified period. Such request(s) and responses thereto shall be conveyed by surface mail or by fax/telex/cable/e-mail followed by surface mail. The bidders, who agree to extend the tender validity, are to extend the same without any change or modification of their original tender and they are also to extend the validity period of the EMD accordingly. A bidder, however, may not agree to extend its tender validity without forfeiting its EMD.
Tender Validity. C17.1 The Tender shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the latest Date of Submission of Tenders. In exceptional circumstances, prior to expiry of the original tender validity period, the Employer may request that the Tenderers extend the period of validity for a specified additional period. The request and the responses thereto shall be made in writing, by facsimile or email (from delegated personnel). A Tenderer may refuse the request without forfeiting his Tender Security. A Tenderer agreeing to the request will not be required or permitted to modify his Tender, but will be required to extend the validity of his Tender Security for the period of the extension.
Tender Validity. 17.1 Tenders must remain valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline for submission of tenders.

In exceptional circumstances, the Contracting Authority may, before the validity period expires, request that tenderers extend the validity of tenders for a specific period, which may not exceed 40 days. Such requests and the responses to them must be made in writing. A tenderer may refuse to comply with such a request without forfeiting its tender guarantee. If the tenderer decides to accept the request, it may not amend its tender and it is bound to extend the validity of its tender guarantee for the revised period of validity of the tender. In case the contracting authority is required to obtain the recommendation of the panel referred to in section 2.3.3.1 of the Practical Guide, the contracting authority may request an extension of the validity of the tenders up to the adoption of that recommendation. The successful tenderer must maintain its tender for a further 60 days. This period is in addition to the validity period, irrespective of the date of notification.
