Surface Finish Sample Clauses
Surface Finish. The surfaces of the coupling plate and coupling lock shall be functionally satisfactory and be carefully machined, forged, cast or pressed.
Surface Finish. Make all surfaces of the units reasonably straight and true to lines and grades, and free from fins or other projections. Form joint marks will be permitted. Give top surfaces of precast units a wire brush or stiff broom finish applied transverse to the length of the slab (transverse to centerline of bridge).
Surface Finish. The Company offers (10) ten years of warranty for standard two coat opaque finishes and translucent finishes (excluding natural resin exudation and movement around knots). For non-standard finishes, see item 2.2. Maintenance must be carried out annually by a qualified person/company nominated by the Company in accordance with below Product Maintenance Instructions.
Surface Finish. Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, all formed surfaces of units shall have an ‘off form’ finish which may not be completely free from pin holes or mould stain.
Surface Finish. Control of surface finish of chrome plated surfaces which are wiped by dynamic seals, I.
Surface Finish. 3.1 Off-mould surface finishes may contain pin holes, larger air bubble holes or mould stain. Off-steel form finishes, where used, will provide a Class 3 finish as defined in AS 3610-1995. Unless expressly noted otherwise in the Contract, further treatment to achieve a higher standard of finish will be deemed to be a variation to the Contract.
3.2 Unless expressly noted otherwise, use of concrete other than conventional grey concrete and finishes other than hand trowelling to unformed surfaces or standard finishes to flooring units, will be a deemed variation to the Contract.
Surface Finish. After the material has slow cooled to ambient temperature, remove all weld spatter or protrusions by grinding, sanding or machining methods. Close control of the hardband welding parameters should result in a good surface finish, such that it is not usually necessary to grind, sand or machine the entire hardbanded surface.
Surface Finish. The milling process shall produce a smooth riding pavement surface that is true to the established line, grade and cross section with the milled area consisting of a longitudinal corduroy-type texture. The milling operation shall be capable of efficiently and accurately establishing profile grades along each edge of the machine within 1/8 inch (3 mrn). Transverse joints and cracks shall be made flush with adjacent surfaces. Transverse joints and cracks shall be visually inspected to ensure that adjacent surfaces are in the same plane. Alignment of adjacent sides of the joints or cracks shall be within 1/8 inch (3 mm) of each other to be considered flush. The transverse slope of the pavement shall be uniform to a degree that no depressions of misalignment of slope greater 1/4 inch (6 mm) in 12 ft. (3.65 m) are present when tested with a straightedge placed perpendicular to the centerline. Straightedge requirements do not apply outside of the milled area. The peaks of the ridges shall be approximately 1/8 inch (3 mrn) higher than the grooves.
Surface Finish. The surface of the bitumen macadam shall be finished to the levels, contours and slopes shown on the Drawings with the following tolerances:-
(i) The level shall be within + or - 6 mm of the level shown on the Drawings.
(ii) The gradient shall be within 10% of the gradient shown on the Drawings.
(iii) The smoothness shall be such that departures from a 3 metre straight edge laid in any direction shall not exceed 6 mm.
Surface Finish. 4.3.1 The surface of timber in contact with or buried in masonry / concrete / plaster shall be clean sawn. All other surfaces shall be wrought.
