Subject Premises Clause Examples
The 'Subject Premises' clause defines the specific property or properties that are the focus of the agreement, typically by providing a legal description or address. In practice, this clause ensures that all parties are clear about which premises are being leased, sold, or otherwise dealt with, and may include details such as unit numbers, floor plans, or boundaries. Its core function is to eliminate ambiguity regarding the subject of the contract, thereby preventing disputes over which property is covered by the agreement.
